NORTHWESTERN REGION

103 Clubs – Breakdown by District

 

The majority of Soroptimist's work to improve the lives of women and girls is done at the local club level. Soroptimist International of the Americas has more than 1,400 clubs in 19 countries and territories. Clubs assess the needs of their communities and then undertake projects that will best fill those needs. Soroptimist clubs receive assistance in their volunteer efforts by participating locally in programs developed and sponsored by the Soroptimist organization.

Soroptimist International Northwestern Region has 103 clubs in 5 states
(Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska) and has over 3,500 members. 
Local clubs throughout the Northwestern Region serves a vast array of
communities with one common objective: being the Best for Women and Girls!

Our Structure

Soroptimist International Northwestern Region

Soroptimist International Northwestern Region improving the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world.

Our region structure includes 103 clubs, over 3,000 members, and services five states in the Pacific Northwest of the Unites States of America. Our headquarters located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is Soroptimist International of the Americas" which is one of four organizations under its parent organization, Soroptimist International, which is headquartered in Cambridge, England.

Soroptimist International has consultative status with the Economic and Social Council at the United Nations and is a recognized authority on matters that women value most.
